PDK option for sure
And that's before ADM!

I bet the some of them will hit 130+ with PTS and custom options and such.

My point was that the car in question almost certainly has the GT4 motor in it, whatever motor that turns out to be. Why on earth would Porsche go to the trouble of building that mule, with all of those GT4 parts, create a bespoke exhaust with much larger outlets, and then test it with just a standard 718 motor? Do you honestly think that's what that car is? And if so, what would lead one to conclude that? Wouldn't the weight of the actual GT4 engine affect the aero and be important for high speed aero testing on the Ring?

His entire contention is that the Euro sticker is wrong, even after someone showed him that it's the identical sticker that was on the last GT4 sold.

BTW, evidently Porsche AG contacted the guy who posted that pic recently and asked him to take it down. Seems odd that they would do that if all it is is a 718 aero mule.

Any day now we should see video of that car from the Ring and it'll be easy to tell what motor's in it based on whether it sounds like someone ****ting their pants as it drives by.

That GT4 test mule has the same 3-way splitted side air intake which hints to a turbo-charged engine (like all 718s for cooling, working air and turbo intercooler) while the 981 have a 2 split intake.

Let's hope that it is really just an aero test car...

You guys are killing me. THE CAR WAS BUILT IN 2014.. it's FACT.

the euro sticker business was revolving around that upper sticker which (once better pics came out) was confirmed to be a parking sticker... But I also pointed out the REG sticker.. which is color coded by FR years.. Blue=2014

Speculation: It's going to be a 3.0 H6, about 400-410HP.

It's the same formula followed for 981 GT4. Carrera S motor, a few less HP than Carrera S, a little more displacement than GTS motor, a little more than old GT4.

Makes sense

That would solve the 3rd gear issue and as long as you don't apex early and hit the rumble strips.

Supposedly that motor with those turbos would not fit in the 718. That was part of the whole argument for why they went with a 4 banger in the new car.

U seriously believe in that marketing speak? A bit of innovative engineering will no doubt make things fit....

I think you are onto something there, because porsche always draws lineage to its other top models\ heritage in its designs/ naming etc...

Either H4 or H6, i reckon its gonna be FI engine this time round....especially if this car will going to be launched in 2018....altho I recall AP stating dont expect a new GT4 in 2018.

And they didn't contact anybody else. Even on forums where PAG has an admitted presence.

And those don't look anything like a 981 or 991 GT car. Better luck next time.
