Default OT: spy shots of next GT4 with NA engine

This is going to be a very sweet car. Personally, I hope it comes with a PDK option.

The new location for the exhaust is interesting as there seems to be a large diffuser like element in the middle. The location is very similar to the GT2 RS so, going out on a limb, I wonder if this could actually be a hi-po turbo 4. I am curious to see some spy video to hear the sound. Then we will know.

So the question is which engine?

The new exhaust lines up more with the new 3.0L turbo motors than the old 3.8L NA or new 4.0L NA in the GT3.

Viperguy is suggesting that this is simply an aero test car.. he lives by the ring.

The rear exhaust outlets/tips remind me a little bit the 356 outlaws! The front bumper looks really interesting.

Looks like double wings in the back, a fixed one and another that can be raised. Maybe they are introducing active aero here.

Should be a great car, but not sold on the looks of this test car. No doubt the real thing will look better.

I think they have a lot to live up to given how good the previous GT4 looked.

According to this source "a detuned version of the new GT3 motor". I'm not buying it. If so I imagine it will be dramatically more expensive than the current version.

I can’t see them giving this the current GT3 engine only to choke it down 100hp when for much lower cost they could just give it the last gen S engine (with or without the basically free to Porsche at the point of assembly Power Kit).

Either way a NA F6 that exceeds the output of the last one will make it a top seller. Hopefully they keep the price in line with the last gen as well.

Yes, but he has zero basis for that and has never seen the car. He thinks Porsche built a mule with GT4 aero, GT4 suspension, GT4 bodywork, GT4 wheels and brakes, and threw a roll cage in it, but didn't put the GT4 motor in it...

With the new 718 GTS stickering around 100k with options the next gen GT4 will be a 120+ car once options are racked up.

PDK option for sure

That’s exactly what they do. Somewhere someone is driving a regular looking 718 that sounds funny to bystanders.
