I just did back to back. Drove to dealer in my .1 GT3 and test drove a .2 GT3 at the dealership and then drove back home in my .1 GT3.

No difference. At all.

What did you think about the engine, power, and performance? Realize you probably didn’t beat on in, but what about at regular or somewhat spirited driving?

And finally the question most of us want to know... will you be trading your .1??

They do not have the same suspension set up.

Quote:The suspension has been fine-tuned, the 991.2 now features helper springs from the RS, and the interior mechanisms of the dampers have been tuned for less resistance

Impossible to tell. Did notice a bit more lower end torque, but maybe it was just "reading about it bias".

No, not trading it in. I had an allocation and passed on it already. Not enough of an improvement for me. Getting the 1.2 RS instead.

Thanks for sharing. If I were wise, I’d probably do the same. Time will tell.

.2 also has Helper Springs, which the .1 does not.

.2 also has new spherical bearings in the steering hardware.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't also a difference in the tuning and controller for the active damping.

Afaik, the helper springs have no impact on ride quality of the gt3 (gt4 and RS too I think) as the helpers are fully blocked under static load. No idea what the main spring rates are on the .2 vs the .1 but I'm sure there will be a slight difference between the two cars due to differences in damper controller tuning though.
