RS everyday of the week and twice in Sunday’s.

Not a good comparison, because the .2 is a manual. So transmission preference impacts the choice as much or more than anything else. As it sits, I'd take the GT3. If it were a PDK, I'd take the RS.

RS because it represents better value (the GT3 is priced way above MSRP and does not represent good value...for ME)

I'd drive the snot out of it and then sell it for $200K, then pick up the same GT3 for $190K when it's all calmed down.

No idea about the GT3 but the RS looks great, has big fat wheels, a big fat wing, and is an RS. Don’t lust after a 3.2 instead of my newly acquired 3.1 RS (could be ‘mynewcaritus’ though).

If you are considering these cars, you should buy none of them.
1. If you want a GT3: wait and you will get one at msrp or close to it. One you can spec yourself.
2. if you really want an RS: wait, gather up some more cash, and get the .2 GT3RS.
my 2 cents.
Edit: You always will be rewarded if you have patience. Believe me, I have learned the hard way, lol.

You can also look at it this way.
At this point, .2 GT3 is not the inferior car, technically speaking. It also may represent the better value in the long run (this is open to debate). The only reason why you would consider the .1 RS over the plain .2 GT3 is the bragging rights and looks. We know the saying, "RS is an RS." However, if you really want the better car, long term value, and the bragging rights, .2 RS is the car to get.
