Ceramic coating makes a difference. Have Coates wheels with both iron and PCCB. Makes things easier when washing and if you track the melted rubber comes off super easy too.

As for cleaners I've used Sonax wheel cleaner and recent made the switch to Adam's wheel cleaner based on advice from OG man Matt M.

Thanks....funny made that call earlier today and will be doing a ceramic coating........One question regarding Adams wheel cleaner (Eco?); can overspray landings onto the rotors and calipers degrade the performance?

Another interesting fact at the dealership is they stressed not to hit the "bleed valve" ? (see attached image/green arrow) directly with the power washer apparently even though it's capped off water is getting down around the threads and causing brake problems/failure. The head mechanic also said do not direct your power sprayer directly at the center lock hub...........not sure what the concern is but let me know if this sounds correct.

Hi, we’re you able to re-use the OEM stickers after removing them? That is no damage to them and they stuck down ok? I believe they should go over PPF too but it never crossed my mind when ordering the side stickers with the car!
Any tips or tricks to get sticker off with no damage? Thanks,

The guys that did the PPF were able to reuse the logo sticker on the hood (blow some hot air, and lift it, set it aside, then it sticks back over the film).
I did not order with the side decals..

I am scheduled to have the rims treated with cQuartz. They will remove the wheels clean/detail them and then apply a coating; hope that helps with the maintenance.

Thanks for feedback. Be interesting to see if side stickers come off ok as well.

Will be at the 1K break in in a couple of days averaging about 150 miles a day..................this engine sounds truly amazing; can't wait to experience 9k rpms. Gotta love the long curvy Texas back roads with just enough straight aways to ring it out.

I’m wondering what the side script sticker colour is for the black cars? Is it the same matt black as other colours or is it a different colour? The configurator makes it look grey in colour and it’s hard to tell from pictures on the internet.

trying to work out what I need to order before my car arrives so I can get it ready for wrapping - thx

I’m guessing the side script and rear wing stickers would be too hard to salvage and you need to buy replacements.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the 991.1 RS and 991.2 RS exhausts?

PAG says there is. .2 is lighter and makes more sound. Seems confirmed by some new owners here.

I'm guessing the changes are just related to the center muffler then?

Doing a GT2RS build at the moment. If you ever wondered why the factory exhaust sounds exceptional compared to that vacuum cleaner sound of a standard Turbo, this is why. Notice the two exhaust outlet pipes. The outside outlet pipe on the backside of the cat (left in this photo) has a valve. When the valves are in the closed position, it routes the exhaust through that big center muffler and the entirely of the exhaust comes out the inside exhaust pipes (right in this photo). When the valves are in the open position, it allows for a complete bypass of the muffler system right off the backside of the cat. It is the first valved exhaust system Porsche has put on their "Turbo" models, and boy does it sound good! Sport cats/catbypass pipes utilizing the same valved setup are going to be killer on this car.

And we've had a complaint that it should have been spec'd in Lizard Green
