Ok, not a lot of feedback - I guess the tire is still relatively new. Anyhow, if any of you go to a track event - flick Sports Chrono on and when you go past the start finish line hit the start button. Don't worry about doing it every lap - just keep it running until the end of the session.

When you get home hit the car button on the PCM go to Sport Chrono, hit the options button and transfer the data to a USB stick. The file format is meant to be CSV - its not quite that.

Open excel, highlight one box. Go to import file. Find the file, click on it - a dialogue box will open.

The first row to import is row 2. Then ensure the tab separated and semi colon separated buttons are highlighted. Hit finish. Bobs your uncle you now have the data in excel.

Please note you will also have do a "find and replace" for a comma to be replaced by a full stop (some europeans use a comma to signify a decimal point). Once this is done ensure your numeric data is in numeric format.

Now you can plot any of the variables your car has logged - its very useful, very easy and as often as not quicker and more rewarding than some of the high end commercial products (which can swamp you with data but are as often as not inflexible with regard to visuals allowing one to develop insight).

Keep in mind the data that is being recorded is from the car sensors and accelerometers and is collected at a cycle rate of 1 point per second (1Hz).

So heres the challenge - lets see some logs
