After being unable to track down an allocation or a car for some time I had decided to just wait a year or two. Out of the blue I got word from my dealer about a highly optioned 188k build that the buyer backed out on.
several hours later it’s mine. Exactly how I would have built it with some nice extras (carbon mirror caps, deviated leather steering tunnel, etc)

I'll put up a separate thread for the full euro delivery recap when I get back stateside but let me tell you I definitely made the most of my day in Zuffenhausen today... (tailed a Mission E prototype for 10 miles outside of Weissach, saw a 992 mule being loaded onto a truck outside at the conclusion of factory tour and guide said Porsche would blow my head off if I took a picture, observed interesting things about the 991.2 GT cars)

Doesn't seem like the graphics are gonna hold up well. In hindsight, it appears vinyl sticker wheel covers aren't a good idea.
Wild One, there are +s & -s to the wheel covers... when on they def decrease parasitic drag, however your brake cooling will be affected... decisions, decisions... 🤔

Danke my friend It definitely was not a fun experience for me tracking down an allocation, but that's in the past now and so far it's been worth it in the grand scheme of things!! Will be happy to post my impressions when the trip is over and do a fun recap for anyone interested

Yeah... I think maybe some uniformly spaced speed holes would keep the aero benefit while mitigating the brake heat.
