Thanks all. Yes the car has the carbon fiber interior trim.

Definitely considering the R101LW wheels. Barely have 100 miles on the car at the moment though so I want to break it in a bit and see how it feels before changing things...

I'll put up a separate thread for the full euro delivery recap when I get back stateside but let me tell you I definitely made the most of my day in Zuffenhausen today... (tailed a Mission E prototype for 10 miles outside of Weissach, saw a 992 mule being loaded onto a truck outside at the conclusion of factory tour and guide said Porsche would blow my head off if I took a picture, observed interesting things about the 991.2 GT cars)

She's freaking beautiful....sweet mother of God
What a great looking car! And ED is such a great experience. Congrats and enjoy your trip!!

It all still seems so surreal. Yesterday we picked up the car in London, Ontario and, avoiding highways, made a 4 hour trip home enjoying the countryside and constantly shifting and changing speeds and being a good owner following the break-in instructions. The Apple Maps nav seems to have been smart enough to avoid traffic and thankfully didn't send us off a dock into a lake or anything. We had a few nervous moments with the temperature dropping and snow squalls blanketing us with flurries but it was never enough to wet the roads so I never had any issues. Most of the trip was in 3-6 degree temperatures.

What an amazing day!!! I still can't believe it's sitting at home now waiting for nice weather.

Congrats!!! Sometimes it's hard to believe it's just a collection of metal/parts/liquids and a "just" a car. It's a special feeling and one I am cherishing as well being new to the GT cars with my first GT3. Just happy as a clam driving the car. Enjoy in good health! Great looking spec

Wild One, she’s a beauty!... a 4 hr ride out of the dealership is the way to go! My girlfriend saw the lovely picture of you, wife and dog, and said “how nice, they have a dog, what a lovely family!” Enjoy your new baby in good health. I am going for a long drive this morning in mine to add to my break-in mileage which I’ve set at ~ 500 miles (seems like a reasonable # to me). Btw, love your PTS screaming yellow Jeep... is it PDK?

Thanks!!

Snowfie's been part of the family for a little over 3 years now. She goes pretty much everywhere we can take her... including picking up GT3's. Surprisingly, there's not much in the way of fur in the Alcantara now.

The Porsche - Jeep combo is pretty all-conquering with regards to getting places. Sometimes fast... often not so fast. I haven't bought an automatic anything in nearly 20 years. Jeep is a 6-speed manual.

Oh... funny story...

On the drive home, I stopped for a bathroom break. When I came out of the bathroom, a guy told me he'd been following behind me and that I had a tail light out. I went and double-checked everything and it all seemed fine. I had the rear fog on though, on account of the small blizzards I was driving through, so I guess he thought since only one side was lit bright that the other side was burnt out.

To funny!! I was once "that guy" with my first Porsche, '87 911 cabriolet. Called my dealer and they patiently explained to the newb about European fog lights.

BTW nice car! Enjoy!

Now if we could only have some nice Ontario weather!!
