2018 gt3 second thoughts
in NY, having second thoughts on buying 2018 gt3 ( blue, PDK, steel, 4 way seats ), should be in dealership within a month, do not need a car as DD, was planning to keep it for a long time and drive weekends... no point to ask GF the question, any thoughts ?

All depends, if you're planning on keeping the car for along time you mine as well buy something that you love. I personally think the GT3 is one of the best all around cars, hardcore enough for a track day and tame enough to drive on a daily basis if you really wanted to. Ultimately up to you, but I'd keep it.

But because it's a GT3 (or any GT car) it has a special place in many enthusiasts hearts. There are people on this board, myself included, who spend hours each day obsessing and thinking about these cars. This is our passion.
Due to the limited availability and hype, many of these people will never get the chance to buy one. So I would tell you to think hard about how much you really want this car regardless of what other people think, and know that there are some really passionate people out there dying to own one. And if you choose to pass on the GT3, try to find a true enthusiast to pass the car onto.
Wishful thinking I know.

Drive it for a few months and then decide what to do. Otherwise it's all theoretical like these forums. It won't be difficult to sell regardless of specs and you will have real reasons for selling instead of imaginary regrets for passing it up.

There's zero reason to own are car of this cost that doesn't excite you enough to make the question irrelevant. Buy and flip. You'll be in good company.

Its an easy answer...buy it, drive it and see if you like it. If not, you'll clearly have no problem selling it...
