My local dealer will not even call me back about a GT3. I'd love to get an allocation but can't seem to get one. Maybe I need to look at other dealers in the Chicago area. At any rate, I would not think twice about a 10k non-refundable deposit for a GT3 allocation.

I think the IL dealers have already all the 18 allocations spoken, the only thing that you can do is to put your name down in case someone chicken's out... Try WI or MN you might have better luck with them.?.?.?

Anyone notice that European Delivery now has a cost associated with it on the Configurator?

That's new! Well, guess that's the end of the goodtimes there too... I'm assuming those of us with locked orders with ED won't get that hit??

May be a blessing for some. I just emailed my SA if this is in addition to the $3,000 they originally said it would cost to do ED or if this replaces it.

WOW! That's bitter-sweet for me. I'm saving at least 1K for the Leipzig delivery, but I don't think I will do another Porsche ED especially when other companies give you discounts instead of charging you.
And the only reason why I will still do it, its because I want to experience the GT3 in Europe.
