If I was in the 991 GT3 RS, I would have been quite annoyed for sure. That driver is cautiously working through the various speed traffic safely, while 993 racer boy is NOT being very safe. It isn't a race. Also, notice the understeer and vague on center steering in the 993. Those types of steering inputs seem crazy for today's cars. Fun to watch---but

I do believe that the driver in the 993 isn't a "racer boy" but a very well respected driver...especially on the Nurburgring.

The RS should of given a point by.

Agree 100 percent on the point by!! But--still not a race, and if the 991 RS driver was too inexperienced to drive at 10/10ths through street traffic on the 'Ring, then it is the more skilled drivers job to recognize that IMO, and not take those risks for himself, RS driver, and those around in street cars without the safety protection of a race car while taking race car risks. That's all I am saying.

Point well taken but I would say that when you go to the ring you should expect this sort of thing, if someone annoys you, let them by, if not, then race them, which is what this guy decided to do... 993 clearly a better driver (and well known and respected around the ring) - he hunts for weaker drivers with expensive cars to humiliate them every time - and they fall for it, every time, for many years now that's show biz

My understanding is the 993 has been heavily modified. It's not a run of the mill 911. Also, the driver is fearless with considerable skills and confidence. His familiarity with the track allows him to be very aggressive. All of which make the video very entertaining.

Definitely not racer boy, guy has some serious skill. You can see the RS just wouldn't let him pass even after having much slower entry speeds.

Having raced a stock 993 and a racing 993 (GT2) My guess is that was very far from a stock 993 and a seriously prepared racing chassis 993. I would also guess the 993 driver communicated with the GT3RS driver prior to entering the track since he deferred to him several times when the RS encountered traffic and made no serious effort to pass him when he easily could have. On straights the GT3RS easily pulled ahead of the 993 using its superior HP, but the 993 caught up easily in the corners. I would also guess the 993 was on slicks vs street tires on the RS. Nice driving all the way.

Looks like they were having a lot of fun....my guess is the 993 was happy chasing the RS around the track even though he could have easily overtaken him....

I'd love to see the two drivers switch cars. Given the skill sets noted in the video, the 993 car wouldn't see the taillights of the RS after 1-2 miles.
