Here are pics of that car getting worked on by his mechanic back at home, that's my buddy in the video.. his brakes went out completely this weekend, quick thinking on his part, he put it into 2nd gear, turned the engine off, and then pulled handbrake to a stop.. could have been ugly.

Glad he saved the Ferrari, that could have been the most expensive two car crash in history!

Keep an eye out for our 6'7" giraffe of an owner Gavin and his lovely wife Amy, they have been attending car week since Thursday are having a ball watching the historic racing at Laguna Seca today. If you see them please say hello as they would love to chat, and be sure to let them know I am lonely and jealous holding down the shop lol.

The wife really enjoyed it, growing up there we frequent the area pretty often. Traffic was a bit much at certain times, but it was all worth it.

Great guy as most know, he took the time after our brief discussion to walk over and sign my RS he even waited for my wife as I skurryed along haha, and Tye got in on the action as well.

I really need to make this next year. Cool to see Andreas Preuninger form a human pretzel to sign his name on the frunk. He strikes me as a real gentleman. Is Dr. Walliser there as well? Good guys working for Porsche!

And thanks for the photos -- Keep 'em coming

It is quite possible Dr. W was around, there are some exclusive events. AP is true gentleman, he does take the time out of busy schedule to engage people not just people in the industry but gear heads as well.

PCNA has over 70 employees out for Monterey, not sure how many from PAG, countless cars as well. Quite the undertaking for few days around Monterey.

Not Porsche related, but thought some here might get a kick out of this. I was invited to the Pagani unveiling of their new car.. 3 cars built not to be sold, but for the factory as Horacio's personal collection... unless of course you're a very special customer in which case it's somewhere around $12M asking price...

a Barchetta version of the Zonda.. very beautiful in real life. Amazing sound, more like jewelry than a car.. but beautifully detailed.

A quick video of the noise.. https://instagram.com/p/BYAIRJnB1yv/

I'm friends with the guy who designed the exhaust, in fact I designed my own custom bike exhaust after this... and tonight he explained to me how they made the pipes the same length and the ultra smooth inside with super thin titanium tubing, in order to create that magical zonda screaming sound. Cool stuff.. very small family business making a very unique product
