Nailed it. When the 991.1 GT3 came out, RL went on and on about how a "bargain" of a car it was, and it was. Then the ADM. Porsche is a highly profitable company for a reason, they really know what they are doing. After the initial shock, I suspect the PTS sticker shock will fade into oblivion and become commonplace.

I have no problem with this, there is demand for PTS so Porsche is raising price to reduce that demand. I will still order PTS if I have the opportunity to despite the increase in price. I wonder what % of people who wanted PTS will now not get it because of the higher price. Might make PTS even more valuable if less people get it but I don't care about that....I buy what I want and pay accordingly.

Why is there a window of PTS vs just the price - never understood this concept.

Paint to sample from Lamborghini is 30k - you pick out any color it's literally a one person specification never to be used by anyone they sample it for acceptance then paint.

Ferrari - their special paints are contracted outside the factory the paint fit and finish is also done outside the factory much better.

Viper who uses prefix who also paints the Ford GT - 9k for Vipers special stryker many layers coats one of the best if not the best in the business.

Porsche paint to sample is a paint they already used - most confusing company I am amazed what Porsche buyers tolerate - seriously amazed and even more amazed GT3 can msrp at 200,000.00 GT2RS 350,000.00 this is a mass produced car with variant models. There were more 991 3RS produced than Lamborghini's entire production and that's just a model of the 991.

In the 80's when my dad was on Wall Street and had a Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer in his garage he always complained "Porsche is very very expensive" and that was over 30 years ago. Nothing's changed.

On that note what are PCCB optioned out for now? I see Suncoast has them at over $20,000 for the full set. It was only 8k when my car was selected with them...

Seen the triple layer Ferrari yellow and triple layer Lamborghini yellow, no contest with Racing Yellow. Maybe the Mercedes Solar Beam Yellow comes close.

I just got the answer to my own question from my contact at dealership: 14,640$
It is 7,930$ on all the other 911s in Canada

GT TAX, no other explanation.

May worth it (if you love a specific color) BUT still... I would feel dumb/raped ordering it because I know what they charge on other 911s for the same thing

Nizer,
I hit the link but had to scroll back forever to reply to this..
New format is garbage.

Can you please email me?

Peter@trakcar.com

$5k sounds way to cheap. We need to talk about our franchise.

The price is disproportionate to what you're getting. For that premium I'm out, which is an uncomfortable convo I need to have now, but I can get PCCB which I've always wanted and a nice carmine black wheel example, or even Miami and pccb and black wheel and come out ahead. **** that, no interest in $13k PTS

No way too much! One of the best in the business in Atlanta charged 3k for my Vette full color change-add 5k for full clear wrap over it (3K did include PPF on nose and rockers though):

But it's Vinyl not paint! Looks great, but I'm keeping my PTS order in Pastel Orange despite the price increase.
