power mods for GT3RS?
So are there any power mods for the 16' GT3RS that actually increase power with out sacrificing any power or drivability? Are there software chips available? The beautiful looking bypass exhaust? Power or just sound? Air filters? This car is wicked fast but in name of 'I CAN'Y LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE" I want to do some stuff.

no not to slow...Without question the best handling car I have ever driven on the track. I'm not new to race cars. I have had a my 930 for 30 years now. Super fast in straightline....somewhat deadly exiting the corners. I have full RSR suspension, full cage, fuel cell, big reds, 577 rwhp. etc. Coming from the bike racing world I have a distorted sensation of speed. Always looking for a little bit more. Note that I have Underground Racing twin turbo Perfomante with over 1200hp.....I know power very well. That car spins all four tires on boost at 130 mph....

Dundon has a great header setup that makes additional power and I'm hoping they or someone else do a ported head and solid cam upgrade soon since the dot 2 has shown the way. I would hope an otherwise stock RS with upgrades to heads, valvetrain, and exhaust would make close to 600hp.

The NA motor zone is not very kind long term to attempts at power mods.
The dollar for dollar solutions are:
Inexpensive: full exhaust and tune: 15-30hp, $10-15,000 and eventually you get check engine lights
Big boy: custom stroker or bored out 4.2L top end, new valves etc : 50hp for $60,000+ and you have no idea what will happen or how long it will last
Engine swap: Turbo time aka build your own GT2RS for 75,000+ and it will take months
Or, get 991.2 cup car and a mountain of tires. Down payment: 60,000. Porsche Financial does a lease on them. Sell in two years. Voila.

^^ right, GT2RS is best answer
looks like money is not an issue if you UGR'd a brand new Performante, so GT2RS Weissach is a drop in the bucket.
Rose jointed suspension will make it handle even better than your GT3RS

I am modder; just about every car I owned is modded, some heavily. Problem with the GT3RS and any other highly stressed NA car is that Porsche has squeezed all the power out of it. All the low hanging fruit is gone.
Your Performante makes 1200 horse on turbos. CJ's got a point here. That would be the next step, but that motor will need a LOT of modifications to make real boost.

Give us a call, no CEL, Catted system or Race system. Solid 25whp gains you can feel, great sound lifetime warranty...
Our stroker cranks, big bore pistons, solid lifters and cams are all in process now. Should have the first cranks in a few weeks, solid lifter upgrades were on track for this month, cams need to be finished. Pistons and Ti rods are also in bound this month.
The build on a 981 Spyder will be pushing 4.5L when finished this winter...

Not entirely true, Porsche is constrained by a number of things that we in the aftermarket are not. When you remove some constraints, you can find the power.

I'm totally out on anything past exhaust on a 991RS.
If you have a specific HP goal, (what we used to call BlingHP on 993 Turbo board) then you will just pay up eventually.
I get it with a disposable car like a Nissan GTR, but with an RS? Lol.
I'd rather take a TT and drop a ton of weight and throw 20k at it to get 850hp reliably.

Sometimes I can see the appeal of a stroker on a 3RS if you have the budget and the understanding of the unique characteristics that come with a build like that. I certainly wouldn't sit here and lie saying I wouldn't absolutely love to drive a stroked GT3 RS with nearly 600 NA HP

I have been building Porsche motors for 20 years and I'm the only guy on the planet who actually makes reproduction cast AL Mezger cases...I know a thing or two about motors.
Sure, Porsche has constraints, but besides weakening or deleting emissions, more cam (less driveable) and more compression, the RS motor is pretty tapped out from a power perspective and makes a bad candidate for boost.
If I had to guess, you could spend 40K on that motor and not make more than an additional 50hp and the car would probably drive like dog****.
Oh, and no collector wants a modded RS.....

If you don't want to void the OEM warranty, either (1) get some sort of side or center muffler delete (or maybe a full exhaust); (2) lower the weight of the car by taking out the passenger seat, radio/PCM, swapping in some Magnesium wheels, etc.; or (3) both.
If you don't care about the OEM warranty, then I'm sure the boys at Sharkwerks would be more than happy to bore the engine into a 4.2L.

track use: Safety, driver, braking, and chassis mods only. Exhaust to sound better, add a little power, remove some heat off the back end.
Street use: go buy a turbo
You're looking well north of 60k to add any meaningful power.
but, handling and driver performance can always be improved on
