Wonderful news from my dealer!

Congrats on (hopefully) getting a car. BTW, if your dealer happens to be a Bay Area dealer, please do not post up the name of the dealership lest I be encouraged to do bad things to its general manager. Seriously, if you got in the top 10 of any Bay Area dealership, I'm gonna burn someplace down.
Just kidding of course.

[QUOTE=CAlexio;14349392]Not really, I can just write and think really fast. I also have a twisted sense of humor, especially when I see haplessness. I hope you caught onto that. [QUOTE]
I like the twisted sense of humor. I hope enzo101 enjoys it too. Given this process, absent being a "VIP" or even 918 VIP etc. you have to laugh about it.

Not really, I can just write and think really fast. I also have a twisted sense of humor, especially when I see haplessness. I hope you caught onto that. Everything I wrote there was absolutely true, and at the same time it was not. Don't get played, and I'm talking about your dealer not us.. we really do love you bro.
The only thing which I really hope you took from that post was not to start another thread like that. I was so you're free to do whatever you want and try to become as popular as you possibly can by starting lots and lots of threads with silly titles. But we do try to keep it somewhat need an orderly here so that information is easy to find, and we minimize BS proclamations... unless they're funny, or attempt to be… And then we go full bore.
Peace (and I mean that)

Wow! Thats a long time away. Are you sure you will still want one by then? There would be so many new choices for cars by that time. There may not even be a 2020 991.2 GT3.
So the salesman I'm working with finally got back to me. I'm on the list for a 2019 or 2020 (if produced) GT3. I also checked with the manager, a good friend of mine, and he said I'm somewhere around 8th in line at this point due to people backin out. Best news is it's a MSRP deal. We're still unsure if I'll get a manual allocation but, according to the manager, only one person has requested a manual allocation. We'll see in the coming months what transpires. Just wanted to share with the group and thank all that tries to help me on my previous post. I found out the person who accused me of flipping cars and handled the situation. I'm more than happy to post evidence that I'm not a troll, flipper or idiot......well maybe not that last one.

I'm really in no rush. I have no money into it and if something else comes along that I want more I'll go that route but I at least have my name on the list.

The question is, if they are going to produce 2019 models to begin with. There are engine restrictions that have to be met come August 2018 and there's also the RS model coming. I assume they won't produce both at the same time.

I am guessing no MY2020 GT3, or if they even make it, by then it wouldn't be that hard to get a new or used one at MSRP or less. By then, a GT3 RS would have already been out and be the hot car at that time, or maybe even not hot anymore!
