I'll assume this is aimed at me?
I don't know what to tell you except that's what harry's told me...consistently.
It is the same timer I use for the GT3, so the app isn't the problem.
BTW the 2:05 was in my GT3 wth R7's NOT the GT4...yes I own both and alternate them. 2:20 at the Glen is a joke, frankly.
I can guarantee you there are a lot of guys running sub 2:10 laps at the Glen in GT4's with stock tires or RE-71's and just an alignment.
You choose to believe what you want.

Actually earlier in the thread I said my times are equal in both the 3 & 4, but who knows what other factors were in play (2:08 on MPSC2's---the 2:05's were on R7's)
I know my times were questioned earlier in this post.
here's a few casual laps by Bill Lehman running 2:07's in traffic for disbelievers

Hi guys. I run the Glen 4-6 track days a year. Last year in my heavily modified Cayman R (3.8l x51 and modified 6-speed manual transmission) with slicks I was running in the low 2:03's and the 991.1 GT3RS with MSC2's was pulling on me in every straight - definitely in the lower 2:03's or high 2:02's for the 991.1 GT3RS. The 991.1 GT3 is easily a 2:05 car at the Glen. I ran my nephew's bone stock - no harnesses w/sport bucket seats and hoosiers this past May and did a 2:10. And by bone stock I mean hoosiers and SRF brake fluid...all else stock including pads, setup, etc.
Since the re-pave, WGI easily gives up another 1-2 seconds versus the old pavement.

Hey rshanholtz - it was nice meeting you at Devils Diner!
Kevin - I'll be in the GT4 at the Glen.
This past weekend Bill Lehman was at 2:06 in his GT4 (from what I was told)

I have also a2:09 at the glen on RE71R tires. Which are street tires.
Lots of improvements that I can still make to fix my many errors. And am confident I will hit 2:08 or 2:07 next time out.( if I don't get held up by a gt3 in the corners :-) )
BillL has run 2:07 and I don't think it was a perfect lap.
I think a pro would run 2:03 or 2:04 in a gt4 in street tires.
