While waiting on my GT3.2 grabbed a 981 Spyder
I've always loved the 981 Spyder so started looking for one the past 2-3 weeks. Was completely shocked with some of the asking prices out there. Thanks to Porsche Jacksonville (Brumos to me) they found one for me, i believe a RL members car. 2000 miles, loaded and without doubt one of the best Porsche's I've owned. I sold my 991 RS about a month ago and have a GT3.2 coming in the first round of USA cars shortly. I went for PDK in the .2 so I'm really happy now that i have a manual. The car also has the FVD tune, claimed to be 412HP at the crank, and it feels strong.
Update on my .2 - V300 7/21 and so far on schedule for shipping 8/11.

Nice find! I still have my RS, and picked up a Spyder last month and the gear box is fantastic. I will keep the pair long term, and I do find the Spyder unique and a great "parts bin" car that's under stated and I had no idea this car drove so good. Enjoy in good health!
Just cleaned up my pair yesterday, and will take the Spyder out for a nice drive with the wife she enjoys it to my surprise.

Nice! Boxsters are awesome in their own right, so I suggest you keep it even after you get the GT3. You'll take a depreciation hit otherwise. I still have my Boxster S bought new in 2005. It's a fun weekend summer car. Despite my attempts to rack up miles each summer, it still only has 30,000 miles. But that's 30,000 miles of ear to ear smile happy driving.

Heck. Wish they would have depreciated before my purchase can't find a Spyder less than original MSRP. Told my 21 year old it's his in like 25 years(:

Love the Spyder. Picked up a 2012 987 Spyder in March. Wonderful little car.
These cars are unique for sure.

the 981 spyder is a great car
it puts smile on my face every time I drive it
but I know the itch to try something different will hit me sooner or later
congratulation, red looks great
