Default MPSC2 N1 on 991.1 GT3

Anyone already tried new compound with the old 991 GT3?

Any feedback about the difference with N0?

We had a discussion about this compound at the track the other day. Did the RS come with N1 from the beginning? We had 4 RS's there and they all had N1's.

It's been mentioned here a couple of times before, the RS has N1 tyres because the 918 came before it and had tyres in the exact same size which were N0 ( some rolling resistance eco type requirement). The N1 tyre in gt3 size might well not be the same spec as the larger RS ones.

I had them fitted last week, very impressed in the wet so far and the dry grip is great.

That said hard to tell the difference without back to back test between old and new.

Regards
Fred

Yes, UK based and they are available here. No, not been on track yet but have done some spirited road driving in hot conditions.

Sure.

I will try 'em this weekend.

But it will be a new track for me, so no real data, just subjective "feel".

Once I will try it on local track, where everything is familiar, including lap times, I will see a real difference (if any). May take a month from now till I'll go there. But maybe I'll be tempted to make it sooner.
