Yes the small bump in hp and torque is nice for the .2 GT3, but as you correctly note, there aren't huge changes for $13,000, plus sales tax, etc to switch from a .1 GT3. It won't suddenly make you a track god to get a .2 GT3 over a .1 GT3.
If you love PDK-S as I do and plan to stick with it, there is no huge reason you have to upgrade. It would make more sense for a PDK 991.1 GT3 owner to upgrade to a future 991.2 RS, which will be much more of a jump in power and specialness and might be the last NA RS ever.
By far the biggest reason to get a .2 GT3 is for the manual, or if maybe you missed out on getting LWB seats with an early .1 GT3 before the LWB became available.

the 997.1 - 997.2 changes seemed to have more aesthetic differences - this car is all about the stick for me

Love it. I was one of the 1st 991.1 GT3 guys (haven’t been around here much lately) and although I ended up loving the PDK-S, this one will be a street-only car for me so it’ll be MT this time around. NA / race-derived 4.0 / MT – Hell yeah!

I think the 991.2 is THE one to own as the last GT3 (I believe) with a naturally aspirated 4.0 motor. For the bump in price, one gets a new warranty with a car without 991.1 taint, which is undeniable. Even for those who don't track, the 991.1 will carry that baggage. Probably not fully deserved but perception is the next thing to reality.
