Hate to stir the pot. But, clearly there is a lot of confusion in regards to ALL the lighting options available. Specifically, which lighting options affect the look of the trim/housing, etc. On 991.1 GT3, there were 4 lighting options. On the current 991.2 GT3 configurator, there are only 3. This coupled with this statement on the PDF document under 991.2 GT3 standard options adds to the confusion. Is PDLS really standard? Is the PDLS option currently on configurator really supposed to be the "black" PDLS or is everything wrong?

Lighting Systems
• Bi-Xenon headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)

I had the same question. Either the standard equipment section is wrong or the configurator is wrong/incomplete. My guess is that it is the latter, as you can spec color match nipples without selecting the PDLS option, which tells me that PDLS must be standard, unfortunately.

FWIW for those who are comparing the look of the 4 outer lights on the LED headlights to the standard headlights - there is nothing like seeing the LED headlights come up from behind you. The outer 4 lights look SO much better and aggressive than the ones on the standard headlights. I'll never forget the first time I saw a 991.1 GT3 come up fast behind me with the LED lights...I had to move out of the way I got scared

It's like going around in circles with this lighting thing.

The PDF brochure which is available at the beginning of this thread shows 3 upgraded light options (just like the configurator):
code 603- PDLS (NOT Black) do have some black features like the light dish
code 602-LED
code XEY- Black LED

The standard lights are Bi-Xenon with integrated 4-point LED daytime running lights, dynamic range adjustment and headlight cleaning system. They don't swivel in corners and are NOT PDLS. This is according to every other country's standard features list. Just check UK, Canada etc. The US list of standard features is wrong, and it isn't the first time.

Headlight cleaning system covers in satin black are standard

With regard to lightning options on the .2 GT3. Different markets or regions have slightly different standard equipment. If I'm not mistaken , my GT4 came with Bi-xenon lights as standard but Bi-xenon lights were optional in other markets.
No rushing here, take your time as it's still early to modify your build.

Sucks that they feel the need to include the washers in the base lighting package.

The washers have been included as standard for at least 9 years regardless of lighting choices/options.

Would help if PCNA didn't muck up the website with conflicting information!

Clearly, someone needs to call PCNA and tell them they have PDLS listed as both standard and a $780 option.

^^^ I'm constantly amazed how they're not more on top of this stuff. After all, they are the most profitable car company!
