The middle class is shrinking , thanks to obama care which is taking a lot of disposable income from people that work , so their ability to spend on cars will be less. This does not help any luxury car company including porsche.

Back to the topic, those R's look awesome. I've thought about picking up a used manual 15-16 S just to get a similar experience-- it's as close as I'll ever get!

i referenced all luxury car makers
it is simple math
10 years ago working people had health ins through their work
their contribution to their health care insurance cost was small , and their deductibles and copays were also small may be couple of thousands a year
same family, same work, same income , the cost now is close to 10 k a year
what that translates to : less disposable income of 600-700 dollars a month which will affect luxury car sales , so people are buying less luxury car.
I know that because i deal with patients every day and this what i am hearing multiple times every day, so you can believe it or not

I know Newport Beach did get a white w/green stripes today, but not sure if it was for sale or if they are asking over. I know the GM of that store very well & he does not sell over MSRP. They did sell quite a few 918's so I assume it was a customer car.

Yeah... you'd do this to your 911 R/RS too!

Maybe he does not sell over MSRP to you but to us J6P, Newport did ask over MSRP for their GT cars. The last 3 brand new GT4 I saw in their showroom all had $15k markup.

Not over? Isn't that the same dealer who has been asking 20 over for the Mexico blue spyder for the last 6 months? If you ask, they'll offer you a special deal of only 12 over.
