Default Aftermarket Lift kit for 991 Gt3

Hi Rennlisters. Shopping for a 991 GT3, and due to the severity of my driveway, (click on my profile pic) have limited my search to those with factory front axle lifts.. Anyone here have any experience with aftermarket FAL systems?

If your driveway entrance is that severe are you even sure the lift will help? After all, the lift only raises the front end up just over an inch. If that concerned, do you know somebody that has one you can test?

I second the need to have someone test it for you.. All the measuring in the world using info from this helpful forum didn't help in real world with my garage.. Ended up having to get a separate one when I finally bought car home. It's all about approach angles, and not having too many different ones close together or they (the angles) will conspire against you.

Actually, the lift feature is integrated into both front struts which are configured differently than stock, with a chamber that is pressurized by a pump and regulator assembly. I believe it's possible these parts could be retrofitted to a non-lift GT3 but a) Porsche might not make them available for car that didn't come with a lift from the factory and b) in any event it would surely be a mega-expensive exercise; probably cheaper to build a new driveway.

If you are talking about this one from Techart, it does not appear to be available for the 991 GT3.

My god, it's also $7k, even after a discount. Makes the OEM system on the 911 for around 3k, seem like highway robbery.
