Well it appears that even the blessed get the shaft from PCNA/PAG too.

It has now come to light that there are 7 cars that have been granted PTS status outside of the colors offered, even after others had made the request and all were turned down.

So even the VIPs get the old FU from the mothership......

wait untill we see a 2+mil markup lol

That does suck, but par for the course with Porsche. Even VIP's can't get what they want and it's been that way with colors for decades. There was an article in Panarama a while back interviewing an original Pre A 356 owner and the color he got was not what was ordered!

I think you had to buy 2 918's to get a PTS R. There is always someone more elite.

Yeah, that totally sucks. If anyone passes up their 911R allocation because they can't get their favourite PTS colour, just let me know. :D

in all seriousness .. ..that does suck for the other guys .. . .those 7 are either very fortunate, or very connected to someone at porsche

I also heard independent confirmation of PTS for the R. I'm guessing Seinfeld, anonymous918, etc...

There's always another level...

I guess it doesn't matter the mark. Ferrari, Porsche or other great marks....They can't shed one fact...they are sleazy car salespeople at the core. Nuff said.
