Nope... Dealers install aftermarket parts all the time... Have to show the cause of the issue was the aftermarket part...

Well according to the dealer here it voids warranty unless car owner has a letter from Porsche that approves what is being installed

Porsche tech friend of ours in Arizona has installed on our customers Gt3 amd the service manager, sales manager and quite a few folks went on rides with the owner.

Laws must be different in KSA than the USA when it comes to warranties...

Unfortunately PAG has the final word not the dealer on a warranty claim. Typically they also have deeper pockets to dispute an issue.

Yeah they are thumbs down here. I was told if i get a letter from Porsche Germany approving the aftermarket product then it is fine just like the letter i got from Motul ... I guess i should contact Akra and start working on this

Just for the record when Akra showed up with their product for 991GT3 I asked dealer in Germany if installing aftermarket exhaust would void the warranty. The answer was yes.
Exhaust is a part of engine design and that gives a lot of room for Porsche to void any claims.
That is again only in Germany and this was only an answer from one Porsche dealer.

You got a letter from Motul that the dealer can put it during their oil change?? I need that! Btw, did they approve you to use 300v 5-40?

Yup! I replied as well... Thanks for sending it. Too bad it isn't the 300V Motul, just Xcess 8100.

I've been using Motul 5w40 X-Cess with good results in my last 3 cars.

@Alan C - you got the letter as well right? I used Motul on my 911 50 anniversary and been using it on my daily driver BMW 435i Gran Coupe ever since i bought them. Once i traded the 50 for the GT3 it only made sense to continue using it.
