Impressive stuff. I remember when a 12sec 1/4mi on 1,000cc sport bike was a big deal.

With the headers it looks like it could get under 10 seconds with the right DA.

Jamie my friend just bought a 991 GTS he was wondering do you have a header setup for that car produced yet? If so what are the gains looking like?

Thats what I thought but after many attempts, I think its not goint to happen. My best was 11.089 @ 124.7 and 11.099 @ 126.9 But the second one was on a colder day with a bad 60 foot.

A tune would definitely help the car break into the 10s

The engine may physically be simiilar but the headers will not bolt on. I will be building those here this year in the future. The flange and bolt pattern is different, but the header design is different as well. That is about 3-4 projects down the line before we get to it.

Give me a shout, let's get it tuned! Our stage 1 tune added 12whp, stage 2 Frank estimates 15-20 especially at elevated intake temps as you'll have out there.

Another thought that might help is a DSC box to program the dampers for a better launch...

Will your GTS headers also work on a C2S (also a 3.8l)?

The 991 C2S and GTS share the same base engine so they physically would fit. I will just have to do the needed testing on the dyno before being able to fully produce them. The GTS has the x51 power kit so I would want to do separate testing to see if that setup wants a specific header design compared to what the regular 3.8 would want.

Those are some amazing quarter-mile times for a naturally aspirated non-four-wheel-drive car (991 GT3 The traps speeds are very impressive as well.

I know that the 991 RS is not designed for straight-line speed but it would be interesting to see what the 991RS would be able to run with the dundon headers in place for the 1/4 mile. Would the extra HP of the 4.0 motor negate the more aggressive down forcing of the RS?

Motor Trend tested a stock RS in the quarter-mile at 11.1 at 125 MPH
