This amazing race has been mentioned before but can be watched again.

Summary: Perfect weather for 23 hours and 45 minutes and then the rain comes on parts of the track
The former race leader, now in 3rd do a refuel/change of tires 2 laps from end of race: Does a mistake and thanks to that changes from slicks to wets.
If they didn't do that mistake they wouldn't have won.

One month to go... :-)

To recap:I did the complete RCN-series on the Nordschleife last year and I also did two VLN races at the end of 2018. The latter in an effort to a) Experience VLN and b) To get the so called Permit A which you need to have to drive bigger cars in VLN and N24H.

Because I was a bit excited and did a money shift we (me and co-driver) did not get our Permit A.

We realized after these two races that we needed more experience and decided to build our own BMW 325 for the V4 class and drive the complete VLN season 2019.
I will continue with RCN but just 5 races.

In one month the car is supposed to be ready for tests and the week after that it is race time :-)

Let's hope it looks a bit better than this:

I like this video too. Somehow when you are driving it feels more like you are in control compared to the passenger seat even if you aren't. Looks like its a rally car on snow/ice too which is pretty foreign if you are used to track. I did the Tuthill ice driving in the north of Sweden a few years back and really enjoyed the experience in classic 911 rally cars with studded ice tires. Learnt that you can't be too timid - have to bully the car into slides all the time otherwise its going to bully you. Good luck with the race car

Does anyone have a similar ”ringfreaks” Calendar for Spa? Trying to plan a trip and would love to do Spa this year.
