Very disappointed with Lava Orange this week
Went to Quail and finally got my chance to see the Lava Orange in person and it was very unimpressive.
The color is very washed out salmon almost like a pastel orange and did not have that deep orange I fell in love with when it first debut at Geneva.
I had several other friends with me and they all hated the color but loved the car.
I can still change my color as I am October production but I think I have to decide whether to go Purple now or GT silver.
It's a pity as I can't get deviated purple stitch and belts on purple.
Now thinking of boring GT silver with yellow stitch and yellow belts to match my ceramics.
What do you guys think?
I also heard Purple may not be allowed anymore so it can possibly be a rare color.
No more PTS according to Porsche either so makes the decision quite hard

I was at my dealer yesterday and saw lava orange. I didn't like it. "Orange Salmon" is the best way to describe it. The color looks great in marketing materials, but in person in bright light it misses the mark. Go purple. (I'd go silver, but I'm boring).
Here is lava orange next to guards red.

GT silver with yellow stitch and yellow belts to match ceramics personally checks all the boxes for me! Exactly what I would order if I had the chance. Also Black wheels to make the yellow ceramics pop.

I saw a lava orange RS today at Caffeine & Exotics at Lenox Sq. in ATL. Was optioned with orange belts, PCCBs, and satin black wheels. I thought it was very nice. The color is not what I am selecting, but beautiful nonetheless, IMO.

I like that build a lot, however, don't believe you can get yellow stitch on the RS. I'm going white with ceramics, yellow belts, platinum stitch on full leather and black satin wheels. GT Silver is my second choice.

Maybe, but many times the official release color holds a better residual.
