Tomorrow I am heading to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta to chat with Melissa about GT3RS colors and some of the options with it. Also it is a good excuse to go check out the new center to see what all the hype is about.

Right now my main goal is to decide between Lava Orange and Ultraviolet. I want to see the colors in person because I keep going back and forth. With my freeze date of July 20th coming up I need to get this nailed down.

Any questions from the Reenlist crowd I should ask?

I think the question is if they have the actual cars there yet and if you can drive them? I assume it'll just be the paint samples for now.

Ask her if UV will be offered on other Porsches like LO, or if it will be a PTS, except for RS.

They had 2 RS coming so I hope they had one each.

And order a couple dozen CS roll bars while you're at it.

I have no horse in the race. I have a 991 GT3 and it is not for the track but a weekend stress reducer- and it works. Porsche fanatic since a child but have had other sport cars outside of Porsche. But UV I would take all day long over LO. Too orange for me and UV actually pretty cool. Not only did I feel that way after the Porsche Center Experience where they had panels but my Dealership here in Chicago also had the panels and reinforced my sentiment this weekend/ my $.02 but to each their own

I believe they do have cars there. A friend told me he saw a white RS out there last week. He is a pretty tuned in car guy so I trust him. We will see if they will let us see them.

I scheduled the appointment with her last week is the only reason I know I will get a chance to meet with her.

I'll post some pictures up when I get a time to afterwards.

I am leaning to the UV but I want to see both in person to make the final decision. I would love PTS but it won't fit with my schedule for ED

Ask her why the PTS builds still can't be scheduled? It's been a month since they opened it and still no V200 date, just stuck at V170 or V180.

I believe that is a cup car. I don't think there are any RS in the states yet.

Talked to one of the instructors yesterday. He said no RSs yet at PEC in Atl yet. I hate that they are not making LO exclusive, but its still a great color on the RS, as is UV. Tough choice. While I'm the first to admit that GT Silver is a bit conservative it looks great with all of the black bits and contours of the RS. Good luck!

You could be right. He is pretty knowledgable on cars but it could be easy to confuse a cup car rear wing with this one.

I am a GT Sliver fan on this car and that is my fall back color for this car if I don't like UV or LO. I really think they GT Silver will look good since it is a metallic color which will show off the curves of the car better than a flat color. Your source on the RS in Atlanta is probably a more creditable source than mine.
