Porsche Experience Center

Its Porsche Exclusive = PE should stand for Porsche elusive / expensive.
I didn't listen because Matte Aluminum is exclusive to UV and black can't cost more than $200 to paint.
It's just a ******* move for not just grabbing them out of the bin that go on the other 3 colors.

The Porsche Experience Center was a great place to go finalize the order for a car. They have everything needed on site to visualize any option you can think of. Melissa was a wealth of knowledge of the brand and the exclusive items that aren't available in the online configurator. She had pictures of different options that already were installed on customers cars. One option she showed me was yellow stitching for the GT3RS script on the seat headrest. I could have done this at the cost of $7k. Needless to say i passed on this option.
My main reason for going down there was to ask a couple questions about colors and options. I did see the patches of Lava Orange and Ultraviolet. I liked both but went with Lava Orange. I really liked both colors and I am still at the point of second guessing my decision. If I had chosen Ultraviolet I would be doing the same thing.
I did ask Melissa each of your questions. Here is what I found out.
Black uprights on Ultraviolet are a $1570 option
Wheels in platinum color, same as Lava Orange wheels, will cost $4500-$7000
PTS status updates. Nobody really knows the answer to this. Porsche has changed how they decide when to do the PTS process so it is hard to predict the delay in production.
Overall I was very impressed with the center, the cars on display there, and the knowledge of the staff. I definitely want to go back at some point when I have more time there.

Finalizing the car. I should have allotted more time but I had to leave a little bit early to beat traffic heading north. I plan on going back in the next couple months to get a better look at the place. We should see if we can get a group to do it together

I am a GT Sliver fan on this car and that is my fall back color for this car if I don't like UV or LO. I really think they GT Silver will look good since it is a metallic color which will show off the curves of the car better than a flat color. Your source on the RS in Atlanta is probably a more creditable source than mine.
