Posted this in another thread, but figured others could benefit from this info:

All those considering Sport Classic Grey, I will warn you it is extremely similar to Chalk/Crayon Grey. Only difference is Chalk is slightly warmer tint (like Fashion Grey, but lighter) versus SCG which has a cooler tint.

Here is my SCG parked next to a Chalk 718 Cayman:

IMHO, not sure if it is worth the $12k PTS premium... When I ordered my PTS SCG 981 Spyder, Chalk/Crayon was not available, so it made sense for me. If Chalk was available back then, like it is now I don't think I would have specced SCG. Don't get me wrong, SCG a beautiful grey, but it's way too close to Chalk.

Very helpful post for sure. I am needing the same kind of comparison for wheel colors ie. no color selection vs. ticking off aluminum or platinum. Cant really seem to get any closeups especially the "no color selection" wheel. This kind of post really is useful.

Not sure, but my guess would be Nato Olive (L6H). Could be olive green, but has quite a bit of brown to be olive green.

Eduardo, here's part of the email that I received from PCNA - Exclusive Manufaktur after inquiring about feasibility tests for Aga and Albert Blue.

Also, I do have an allocation. Not sure what I wrote led you to believe that I didn’t. Sure that if we went a bit further with PTS discussion, PCNA would’ve asked for my commission number...

Narrowed PTS search for my Touring build down to about a dozen colors. Meissen Blue is one of them, but it's so hard to pick a color without seeing it in person.

Gulf was on my list but since it varies so much picture to picture, I ultimately drove a couple hours to see a Macan in Gulf Blue. While it was very nice, decided it wasn't for me because it was too bright of a shade in sunlight.

Landed on Meissen from this experience but unable to see one in person. If anybody knows of a Meissen example near CT please let me know.

Here's a sample of Porsche's Navy Blue (W67).

After I received this sample from Exclusive, I questioned it because it appears metallic, and I didn't think Navy Blue was so.

Told by Exclusive that Navy Blue (W67) is indeed a non-metallic color, but they are unable to provide a sample because it's part of a 'test project' (whatever that means) and sample is not available.

So Navy is non-metallic color but they only have metallic sample... Makes little sense, and too much work for me to pursue. They told me it's exactly as pictured here sans the metallic.

Has anyone ever seen a Navy Blue Porsche?

Chalk is not "extremely" close to chalk, especially over the expanse of a car. Here, the wave sample is chalk and although a nice color, I don't want a car in beige paint (under certain light conditions). The frog color is Fashion Grey. The 918 is Sport Classic Grey.

Honestly it depends on the type of light. In direct sunlight they are sooo close. With interior fluorescent light as you posted with the 918, you pick up more of the difference. Same goes with low light situations. Color is all subjective and should never be judged by photos as it almost never replicates the real deal. If I forced to choose between the two, I would select without any hesitation SCG.

Lizard green would be interesting since it may be one of the first new solid greens in a while (does it have anything to do with the Flying Lizard Motorsports team perhaps?). Anyone have more info?

Just to follow up on this, it looks like we have more info that Lizardgrun (not Mambagrun) will be the next colour to debut on the 991.2 GT3 RS.
