Just ordered Bray Group Single Layer for $300 to see how it works. And installed clearplex around 5 times on many different cars. Takes some patience, but no big deal. Clearplex as a product is not the issue. Visibility is. Clearplex has saved me may numerous times from chips, on track and on the road.
My .2 GT3 will be here next week and once I get / install the Bray product, I'll report back.

No visibility issues for me at all. Have it on all my cars. Maybe I'm just used to it and forget just how clear it should be.
When I took it off my '15 GT3 during trade, the glass was perfect! Not a single chip in it. Did the job and if it was readily available, I'd replace it after every year or so.
We'll see how Bray works.

I ordered the Bray product and received it about a week later. They were responsive and the product arrived in a nice box.
Their single layer product appears to be similar to clearplex. The template left ~1/8" gap around the edge, which is OK. It laid down nicely with no major issues.
