Default RSS Xpipes installed

Had the RSS Xpipe installed a couple of days ago. Sorry for the terrible cell phone pics BTW...

I don't know how many you tube clips and forums posts I've been through in my quest to find the exhaust note that I wanted. Every manufacturer has it's unique selling points and sound and I weighed all the pros and cons of each.

I was looking for a screaming higher pitch note at WOT.
I wanted it to have a noticeably louder clean sound note at RPM's below 5k. The stock exhaust is just too quiet below that at lower revs.
I absolutely did not want any drone no matter how subjective it is.
The valves opening and closing doesn't really bother me, so keeping the valves in tact was a plus for me.

Mike at RSS reached out to me. I had dealt with Mike on my previous 997tt and agreed to try their bypass system. After putting a few miles on the car with the Xpipes, I can truly say that I have found what I was looking for.

It has a very pronounced and clean exhaust note at lower RPM's and it has that high pitch wail at the top end. ABSOLUTELY ZERO DRONE.

When I was getting criticized after posting up my GMG bypass I never got upset. I expressed that it is great that GT3 owners have so many choices for such a niche car. Many choices is a great thing.

I haven't had time to put a sound clip together, but here is the one RSS made with their prototype version.

Reviving a slightly old thread.

I stumbled across the RSS bypass while searching the web and reached out to and spoke to Mike this morning. Great guy and knowledgeable! The RSS sounds like a real nice option and the X-pipe design appears to make it somewhat unique. Curious now that you have it installed for a few months if you have any additional comments or insight? Is the finish holding up well?

Also, have you heard any of the other bypass systems in person? If so, how does this compare? Any insight is appreciated.
