Default Track Camber and Tire Pressure

Want to have my car set up for the track VIR when the weather finally breaks up here.

Some of you have been lucky enough to have already tracked your GT3's.
Can you please tell me what your setup's are?

2.2 Negative Front?
2.4 Rear?
or
2.2 Front?
2.0 Rear?

Tire Pressure ( MSC2)
Front: 29-31 psi?
Rear: 32-34 psi?

Thank you,
Jerry

we added an extra .5 degree of negative camber all around and lowered the car. also adjusted the toe(will get more info) has really made the car feel more planted and stable especially around fast corners. pressures seem about right.

32psi F and 35psi R HOT

-2.7 camber F and -2.4 camber R gives you pretty even tire wear

I was thinking -2.5 F and R. But sounds like -2.5 R may be too much?

Im not playing with massive negative cambers. -2.15F and -1.54R (max attainable without using shims). Nor have I lowered the car or adjusted sway bars so can add anything much here Im afraid.

What I can tell you is the MPSC2 perfer to be on the high side. I would be targeting 32/33 F hot and 35/36 R hot.

Start at one of the above posted suggestions and work through this guide at the track:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...nd_Feeding.pdf

You need a Pryometer and pressure gauge, to get the setup really dialed in:

-2.5 in the rear might be perfect. I would add more in the front since we drive similarly. Tire wear is pretty even up front with -2.7 except the outer edges wear more on the passenger side on a counter clockwise track

This seems to be the best for tire wear all around, but may be a bit understeery (maybe not - depends on other settings and driving). Given that the rear tires are almost guaranteed to heatcycle out before the thread is gone (unless you are into drifting), it makes sense to optimize front camber for wear and then use rear camber to balance out the handling.

Another good choice for a gauge is:
Amazon.com: Longacre 50370 Temperature Compensated Tire Pressure Gauge: Automotive Amazon.com: Longacre 50370 Temperature Compensated Tire Pressure Gauge: Automotive
I use it and it is nice not having to remember all the numbers as you go around the car.

You can order from Porsche Motorsport or use the ones made by RSS for the front shims.

My shop races GT3 cups, so they had plenty lying around

I didn't think there was much room to lower it?
