I've never heard of the product. Looks too good to be true!
Has anyone tried it on their paint?

Yikes! I want to bathe in that stuff (although it would probably kill you instantly).

Crazy, particularly the water on glass trick. Doesn't seem to dry clear though, as the boot shots with/without look differently colored.

So, if we spray this stuff on the wheels, it'll repel brake dust???
Hmmm...

Pretty cool stuff. Looks like Nissan is testing it. Could be considered "green" if your car doesn't need to be washed frequently.

There are products like this available for car paint. I have one (22ple) on my Italia and I haven't washed it in 2 months. I recently took it to the dealer for an oil change and they thought I just had it detailed. Nissan is actually going to release a new paint with this built in next year I'm told. You can google "Nissan washless paint" where they painted a white car half and half with regular paint and the new paint.. It's pretty amazing

In the comments section for that video, the manufacturer says this particular product is not recommended to be used on automobile body panels, windows, or windshields and also that it will cover gloss paint with a dull, matte finish. However they state it can be used on the undercarriage of a vehicle. They didn't specifically mention wheels, but I would definitely do some more research before spraying it on any type of glossy surface.

My mine went wild with the possible uses.
A whole car would be very cool. I never thought it would be green product like Nissan. That's thinking outside the box.

Let me try it on my boots here in Oregon, bet it doesn't last a day!

You learn what waterproofing really means up here- all the different products like this don't work very long. The only thing that works is full water tight materials like rubber and plastic.

So true, I hear you. Same thing with my experience, have tried numerous products, they all say they're the best, and most only last a short time, or you need to re-apply every few days. Lot's of "snake oils" out there.
