Carrara White Metallic

They are both pretty similar and pretty close to neutral. The regular may be ever so slightly on the warm side of neutral, and CWM is ever so slightly on the cool side. Warm means just a touch yellow in certain lights and cool means just a touch toward grayish blue in certain lights . Both, though, clearly read "white".

Another thing I observed was how they are impacted by light conditions. In direct bright light I find they are fairly equal in brightness, albeit in a slightly different way. In mixed light situations like dusk or dawn, the CWM looks especially interesting. On the other hand in general low light conditions, it may look a touch dull compared to the regular white.

CWM is a bit sparkly, and less deep, but more cold / neutral than regular white. I like the colder color temp of CWM, but don't like the sparkly undertones.

Sean: I just realized you were taking photos of my regular white GT3 without my permission...I might have to file a complaint with the authorities on that one. I, for one, prefer the regular white as it has a real "pop" in bright light that makes it look like a toy car. Very few car companies invest the $$$ in the necessary paint chemistry to make their white so bright - it's a testament to the Porsche brand. The upcharge for CWM is really more of a low-run convenience as opposed to a true differential in paint / material cost. I love you, Porsche...

There's no warm tone in White (Pure White), it's purposely a neutral white, I prefer this too.
The discontinued Carrara White is slightly warm.
White will look slightly dull next to Carrara White Metallic, but that's because the latter has sparkle.

I really enjoyed CWM on my last GT3.

I recently acquired a ‘15 GTS in Carrera White Metallic. I just received my touch up paint from Suncoast, and it actually has three bottles. Metallic White, Standard white and clear.
I was not expecting the bottle of standard white.
Anyone else?
I have a Dr. Colorchip set for upper body chips, but bought the factory paint for the numerous chips in the lower area in front of and behind the rear wheels.....those areas have taken a beating. It occurred to me that perhaps Porsche intended that I use the pure white as a base to get better coverage over the black primer, then the metallic, then the clear.

Looking at White and CW side by side, regular white looks sportier and pops more, and CW looks smokier and classier. Both look great IMO, just different. All depends on the look you're going for.
