Embarassing moments behind the wheel
After looking at the GT3 "test drive" accident video, I had this thought.
We've all had our embarrassing moments behind the wheel.
Fortunately for me, none of mine were caught on video and downloaded to the internet for forum comments. I guess there is always a first time for everything though.
My most recent embarrassing moment was pulling away from a gas pump without taking the hose out of my car. Lucky there was no damage to anything other than my ego. The gas station attendant said it happened fairly regularly to them, which made me feel only slightly better.
Any one care to post their most embarrassing moment(s)?

Most embarrassing moment behind the wheel? Hmmm... I think it was the time that I was in a car with this girl, and a cop shows up at an "inopportune" moment....

Mine was a female cop, she knew what was going on, and kept a distance while constantly flashing her flashlight. High school.

Yea that was def embarrassing being caught in the act, but those were in my former years. I guess now the most embarssing thing that has happened to me was stalling in my friends LS2 GTO.

Early Apex in Turn 2 of Riverside International Raceway at a Porsche Owners Club event around 1985. Totaled a beautiful 1972 914-2.0! One of the three Porsches I have totaled so far...but the only one at a track!

Burning Brakes
Had a ski jump sloped driveway at my house in Atlanta. Got out of my car at the top of the driveway for the mail. Got back in, gear box in neutral, lowered the handbrake and proceeded to do my normal 'first wire' carrier landing into the garage. One problem, my brake foot was over the clutch ..... drove into my house... all the way into the family room... and yes she eventually divorced me!
