Check it out.

*** UPDATE ***
After seeing the video review for the 991 GT3, I felt compelled to post a review with a bit more Testosterone.
The way sports car reviews used to be. The 997.2 GT3.
Unlike nowadays, where they talk about "COMFORT".

Sutcliff must be a paid-off Porsche shill. It can't possibly be what he says it is, "The best car Porsche has ever made", "bargain of the century", "maybe the best sports car I've ever driven".
Will someone please remind him what an imposter this car is, and to stop having such a good time, because we know that to do that you need a clutch pedal and a Mezger.

Just give the option of a 3rd pedal and end of story, but looks like it's solid.
Either way I'll wait... for a while. The production numbers are high, so the pre-owned market will most likely go down quickly, either way I'm looking forward to see the car working.

Best ever. Bargain. Fan-mongous-tastic.
What the flying f*ck is this idiot saying? I can't deal with journos speaking in superlatives.
That, and he completely lost me at "comfort". Buy a TT for that. Comfort is excess baggage, has no bearing in a purist car, is HUGE negative IMO. Akin to introducing an Upton-esque chick by saying she's great at ironing.

I have always thought that Sutcliffe is an idiot. An idiot way over his head. He never has anything intelligent to say, is not very thoughtful, and has no idea what he is doing. Everything he drives is wonderful, the greatest thing since sliced bread, chuffing magic, etc... My take on his review is that he was so overwhelmed by the new GT3 that his pea brain could not come up with the proper words to express himself. SO we get things like "Fan-mongous-tastic" instead, although in that particular case I am sure he meant to say Fan-Fuc*in-Tastic but had to stop himself.

He writes for one of the highly regarded auto magazines. Has been doing do so for years. He must have credibility and a lot of experience. What his views are carry weight. Porsche gave him, Chris Harris and Pete Stout an opportunity to drive the GT3 earlier than other journalist. They all are considered leaders in their field.
You may not like his words but his meaning was clear. The car is epic!

Sutcliffe knows his stuff. He and Harris are the best car journos in the UK.
And he handles himself like a boss, even when F1 hotshoes run out of talent while they're driving you around a track...

I'm afraid CRex and DrJay have a point there. Looking back at his other reviews, he almost never has anything bad to say...not sure if he's just a polite guy or if he's afraid to **** off the manufacturer? Also in this video he was short shifting: I kept waiting for that "last 500 rpm magic" but he kept shifting at 8k. Was he trying to break the car in for CH or something? It came off more like a promo video than a critical review.

I didn't say his review wasn't favorable. I think it is possibly the one review where his endless stream of superlatives was warranted.

His enthusiasm is crystal clear and no one is questioning the greatness of the new GT3. I'd likely put a deposit down in my dealer if there aren't already 6 ppl in front of me. The review lacks some true substance, that's all.
