Sorry for sounding like a broken record but unlike yourself who is anti-stick, the manual guys don't object to paddles, just to the fact that we no longer get the option to go slower with a manual... A priviledge given to all buying any other 911 variant...

And this RSR is pretty much mid-engined too. Not good but what's worse is no new RSR in ALMS this year so essentially no Porsche cars to root for.

+1.

Aston has a properly sorted car. Not to mention, if you can outrun AF Corse, you're freakin fast.

This RSR will be at the pointy end soon.

It's obviously because they're running that POS old Mezger engine.

Must not have had enough pennies in the coffers to put in that new, improved 9k RPM 9A1 unit.

Maybe they should buy a Camaro Z28 and save some money by taking that engine out and stick it in the CUP car(RUF already proved a V8 fits.) just throw the Camaro away for that price..

Quite the opposite, they'd have enough money to have a second "new Gt3" motor on hand, they just don't have the hour or two to swap it when it falls to pieces half way through the race... Speaks volumes for their confidence in the new donk when they run the "pos Mezger engine" as you put it...

Perhaps after the Macan and the "Pajun" are in production they can upgrade the 991 racing cars so they can be as quick as the new 991 "GT3" - hope you enjoyed Adam Scott's victory, it'll be tough to repeat if the cheater putter ban goes through.

lol... To be honest, golf is one of those sports I just can't follow because I'm so retarded at it that I always move the grass twice as far as the ball, lol... Awesome performance on his behalf but regretfully before today, I would never have known who he is... Such is my knowledge of that game with those annoying little white ***** that are so hard to hit..

lets hope so..but being 1sec down is not a good start. After all, they developped the car over a longer period already. Lets hope it can catch up soon...

This is excatly what I expected...all this talking that the 991 RSR will destroy the competition because the 997 GT3 RSR was so retarded etc..well the reality is different. The 991 RSR is a better car..but the competitors are not stupid either. It will be a tough season..and nothing is for free.

Judiging from the best lap times the 991 RSR was about 1 sec faster per lap compared to the older 997 GT3RSR..one second is good but not a huge gain..but all this is still not enough to beat the rest.

We will see....

With some devopment it will be fast but i think it is time for 8cly or 960 tub.
