There is also a RLister with a beautiful PTS 'Aetna Blue' 991 that he already got. You could contact Beachwood or Roslyn and ask them how long it took for their PTS orders to be processed and/or built. Remember, they were choosing pre-approved colors - 'Riviera', 'Mexico Blue', 'Etna' - and that made the difference.

Plan on ordering Agate with black wheels, PCCBs and yellow belts and matching stitching...

I've always been a partial to silvers and greys... With 3 out of state speeding tickets in the last 6 mo probably not the time to deviate. Agree some of the pts colors would look awesome tho.

Are you certain you'll be able to get yellow stitching? The configurator lists red stitching specifically under the "Interior" tab and in the interior leather section of the "Options" tab, but other than that I don't see a generic listing for deviating stitching. Maybe with enough $$ you can get whatever you want.

My all time favorite color is birch green. There's a 997.2 GT3RS in this color.

Nice. After much thought, I've also come around to Agate; at least as of now.

With regard to the axle lift, like you I'd be willing to chance not having it for normal driving and I'd sure rather not spend the $3400. But I scrape the fairings in front of wheels on my Carrera S on my own driveway (I've tried every possible angle) so I know the spoiler on the GT3 would make contact. That would be too irritating....

I want red, but guards is such a dated looking color IMHO. Carmine is more modern, but does have a lot of pink in it. Does Porsche offer a color like BMW Imola Red? Love that color! GTS red, I suppose?
If all else fails, the 991 looks very modern and sexy in white.
