Now strangely there is apparently a lot less soundproofing in the GT3 Touring than the GT3 RS. Just looking under the carpets, before I remove my roll cage tomorrow, there certainly seems to be a lot in the RS, has anyone tried removing this ?

The 991.2 GT3 RS has less sound proofing than the 991.1 GT3 RS as well.

Maybe the GT3 touring has a glass rear screen instead of Lexan in the RS and that alters the acoustics ? There is not too much soundproofing in the RS but I still removed a good chunk of mine today and love it, one hears the exhaust value opening much more clearly and it sounds like the car is supersonic

While you are in there, can you provide pics on how and the where the front two legs of the OEM Clubsport cage attach to the car? Always want to know what our North America cars are missing. Thanks,

I guess 60lbs + is the weight of the cage, the main front roll bar is 80% of that

The OEM cage attaches to the shock towers, I'm pretty sure.
