Default GT3 Touring: too loud?

My build locks in a week or so and after seeing that German fella's chalk Touring car in his videos, I'm now considering changing to a Touring from a winged car. Part of that is that I would love to add houndstooth seat inserts, which I think look good only on the Touring car.

My two hesitations are 1) part of me feels a GT3 should be a proper GT3 with a wing and alcantara interior and 2) I'm worried after what I've heard that the Touring's noise levels might just be too much to live with daily.

Can those who own or experienced Touring cars contribute their thoughts to this thread so we can sort of get it all in one place?

Thanks

To clarify, really just looking for opinions on the noise not so much opinions on the wing/alcantara, but feel free to input anything you'd like.

Can always be louder just don’t thrash on it in a residential neighborhood and problem solved if your concerned about noise.

Could care less about noise outside the car but some of the comments about drone and cabin noise being louder than the winged cars is concerning me.

You can always eliminate drone with the right pedal, it's the one on the right too for ease of memory.

It’s not a cheap sports car. Just asking questions.

I'm thinking the houndstooth is what's too loud!

I just drove a 27 year old Jeep that had been sitting for 5 years up to vmax. That was loud, but still tolerable (whether driving such a vehicle at vmax makes any sense is another matter). The only vehicle I found too loud was my Exige with no rear insulation and the lotus sport off-road only exhaust.

I know its sacrilege, but it is pretty easy and inexpensive to quiet down a car if it bothers you after you buy it.

Can you see if anyone in your area can hook you up with a test-ride? Seriously what kind of answers are you looking for online if you are not able to experience in person ? Noise is all subjective.
As you mentioned, it is not a "cheap" sports car....you don't want to dish out 150 K + then having buyer's remorse.

Do you have a link to said video? I’m picking up my GT3 Touring in Chalk next week. Happy to report back about cabin noise then

Right. The louder and more uncomfortable, the better - as long as it gets the adrenaline going...

it’s all relative to be honest. it’s def loud in the cabin, some people have complained about it, i personally love mine and have no problem with the volume.
