In what way way do you know the second batch performs better than the first one? They haven’t even been built yet? What’s the performance advantage of a WP car over a standard one?
At the end of the day I would believe most of those who had a second batch .2 3RS RHD sold their batch 1 (I did) and... regardless of how better or not they will be than batch 1, we will take a view and enjoy them for the special and full of soul cars they are. Maybe they will be lighter, maybe they won’t sound as good, maybe most of them will have WP (which I do t think was available for batch 1 in the U.K.), maybe we will miss the blue developing on the titanium exhaust, maybe they won’t hold value as well and will not be the ownership free cars some of us were blessed to have for a few years. But the rest will be as good and intoxicating as the 991 GT3 RS have proven to be. I can’t wait now!

On the swedish (.se) config it now states it is the same engine as the speedster. There is also a soundtest, hard to tell if this is the new engine or not, but when comparing with the german (gt3 none rs sound) (.de) confi i think its the new sound, from what im hearing, im liking it

Its kind of hard for me to understand whether it will be lighter or not.

And if you don't read French

"New lightweight sport exhaust system, in special steel, of the 911 Speedster and the 911 GT3 RS (991.II, second production phase)", on top right.

Merci Eric.

To me those numbers make the .3 version 5 kg lighter than .2. At the stated 1.500 kg minus driver (75 kg by default), the total weight of the car will be 1.425 vs.1.430... guess that sounds reasonable....

Speedster engine has 10hp less than current RS and even at higherrpm (8400) Same for torque at 6250 instead of 6000 eventhough same 470Nm

to be noticed that Speedster vs cureent RS has worst fuel and CO2 emission per Porsche website

The latter point is not comparable because of wind drag and manual v. PDK.

Wow. The aftermarket exhaust tuners will have their work cut out with this one The .2.2 (hehe) system looks very integrated and not so easily replaced with different bypass solutions.

Are we sure about ITBs. There seems to be confirmation of exhaust pipe being same as Speedster from one RT contributor but not ITBs?
