I am pondering selling my 2018 GT3 Touring. Putting this post out there to determine potential interest and what I could expect to sell it for. Car has just over 1,300 miles. It is well optioned plus some custom touches. It is a PTS car in Brewster Green. The custom touches are as follows:
Sharkwerks Center Bypass Exhaust (Original center muffler included)
Paint correction, Quartz coating and Suntek PPF on front half of car including the brow on the top and A pillers
Original black fabric in center of seats has been replaced or more precisely covered in Scottish National plaid, which matches the color scheme of the car. In addition the sliver plastic on the sides, hinges and back of the seats have been covered in matching leather and stitching (the factory option to do the same was not orderable at the time of order)
Front camera to protect against curbing.
Original MPSC 2 tires have been replaced with Michelin 4S tires
Aftermarket pedal set
My original cost for the car was as follows:
List price of $188,570 plus $25,000 ADM or $213,570
You're not going to recoup your ADM or any aftermarket mods or paint correction work, or new consumables (like tires).
GLWS.
It's surprising to see so many of these come back on the market so quickly. What is wrong with these cars? The wife finally finds out what it really costs?!
GLWS. Beautiful car. Love what you did. I would keep it and Daily it
this is very difficult to judge at present time as the impression we are getting is that there are so many cars on market , and production continues
Only somewhat accurate assessment is to contact 3 Porsche dealers and see how much they are willing to pay for the car and then decide on next step
but agree that ppt is a minor positive
tires are a negative ... people want the best grippy tires on GT car
inserts are neutral to negative
front camera is a minor positive
Shark work bypass from .1 does not flush properly on .2 , so you are probably better removing and selling on your own ...
PTS value varies not all colors command a premium ... dealers will evaluate depends on their experience with that particular color
