991 RS PCCBs
I find the PCCBs on my 991 GT2RS and previous GT3RS very noisy on the road and not that responsive unless they're really hot and you stamp on them. Meanwhile my 991.2 Carrera T with PCCB's stops a lot better on the road.
Is it the pads? Can I swap them for a more road biased compound? Or are the discs different? The discs seem to be the same size.

Get 991 Turbo S brake pads, do the the brake burnishing procedure, done.
On my TTS, I did the opposite, went for 991 GT3 RS pads to get the better feeling of the GT brake pads, and Yes, the make noises on street driving, and I don't get bothered by these noises, otherwise I would buy a Tesla.

If your PCCB's are squeaking... it's how you broke them in... my .2 GT3 PCCB equipped car never squeaked except possibly at the track when hot. And honestly I don't remember them doing that? My friend with a Turbo S car, who also tracked his... they definitely squeaked.
If you break them in nicely, and give proper cool down laps after your session, they should be quieter and cleaner than the steel setup.

Dave

Burning Brakes
Here is what I did, based on other posts here. Seems to have worked great. Plenty of bite, no fade, no squeaking (yet...)

Good luck!

Mine only really squeak in the winter or when the car hasn’t been washed in a while. Wash the car and report back.

I actually do not subscribe to the 'beat the **** out of the brakes to burnish them in'... I brake them in through normal moderate pressure (medium pressure) fast stops... but work up to that over the first few weeks. starting with light pressure and as the days go by... will apply a little more... always allowing significant miles between braking attempts to keep rotors and pads cool.
