Installed tempered glass screen protector on my PCM
Recently saw this thread about putting scratches on the PCM screen
Detailer at Dealer scratched PCM screen..
I decided to put a glass screen protector on mine, here is how it looks. Fitment is perfect and interior suddenly looks 10x more expensive. It also give better contrast to the screen, love it!

Where did you get the Glass protector from?? Any problem with the touch screen when using it after installation??

Hey Jimmy, no issues with the touch screen at all, just like any phone tempered glass protectors.

That is a plastic film and not tempered glass. I bought that and removed it. You cannot glide your finger on it smoothly and the fitment is sub-par; it doesn't even go edge to edge
Not sure if it's the same brand, but Suncoast sells them for $40.

I had the Salter Aero glass protector installed on my GT3. I absolutely love it!
Pros:
- This is an actual tempered glass protector, not just plastic film. Much better feel.
- The protector increases the appearance of contrast on the screen. The Apple CarPlay screen looks noticeably more punchy with darker black background and icons that jump out more.
- The glossy material makes the interior look higher end. I understand why Porsche spec'd a matte screen to reduce glare, but it made the screen look very dull and lower-end. This protector fixes that.
- Fitment is SUPERB. It goes edge to edge and it is completely invisible once installed. OEM grade.
Cons:
- Very slightly more glare due to the glossy surface. However, the screen brightness is strong enough that it actually hasn't bothered me at all.
I love this screen protector. Such a small thing, but feels like a big upgrade for the screen and interior.

No more difficult than a protector you put on your phone. Clean the screen with a microfibre cloth and some diluted alcohol / water solution, have a dust blower handy to get rid of dust, peel back the plastic layer on the protector, center it up and gently press it on.

What I did was I used my tiny suction cups from my radar detector mount, attached them on the glass protector and lined it up with the PCM screen after I wipe it down clean with the provided accessories. As you can see the alignment is perfect. Yes, I am OCD for perfection.
