Sounds like you can now afford a GT2RS. I made a few bucks trading options on it before earnings.

Electrical Engineer, working for a company that I picked because people didn't have to go into management to advance; wife is a System Analyst at a software company, DINCs.

I was wondering if anyone had noticed that here.

Yeah. hell of a Friday! I've seen some jumps over the years... but that was a big one. Between that and Trump's tariff threats, I'm semi-regretting trading in my GT4 for the GT3. I was trying to find a way to keep both. But oh well!

I own a Healthcare company. Work a solid 30 hours in the office a week but my phone never sleeps. I don’t post much or often on any forums but with a new gt2rs on order I am eyes deep in any information I can possibly gather. I much prefer driving my cars rather than playing online, but Rennlist is a great forum for sure.

No inheritance, paid for my own college waiting tables. Got into IT Sales in 99, been riding the wave ever since. I work my butt off, and its high stress, but I generally interested in what I do and it pays well. I save / invest 50% every year which has become my new hobby of building financial portfolios for friends. My goal is my passive income hits a specific amount in the next 5 years so I'm working "by choice". Which I will probably do so I can increase my disposable income to buy more cars

I've had a love of sports cars since I had the 911 poster on my wall at 8 years old. Its an expensive hobby, but I guess we don't get to choose our passions do we....

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / Flight Technician for a Fortune 500 Co's Corporate Jets the past 22 years. Started 'playing' with water cooled VW's, then Audi's in the early 90's... Worked hard and had fun but always lived within our means while still being able to put two kids through college. My mom used to say "its not what you make but how you use what you make". The VW's and Audis were the lead up to the Porsche brand. Figured it was time to start enjoying the fruits of my labor so I picked up the Macan GTS three months ago... as a lead up to the 911 when I retire in three years....God Willing.

I'm a DVM. Our Surgery facility is the largest in the world for horses and is directly opposite the horse Park. It's called Hagyard. I have done so many colic surgeries, at this point several thousand.
Next time you're at the horse Park give me a call we'll have dinner.

Too many businesses to list. Retired Age 43. Now 45. Grew up in upper middle class family, parents are Italian, which meant I did not get a single dime. Went to high school, flunked out of college, Dad told me to get my shyte together, and here we are.

Ha, I wish. Our build if done totally local would take more than a day. A fresh build with remote caching of build artifacts takes about 12 minutes. Average compile time of a local build that changes just one or two sub modules is a couple minutes.

Large C++ monorepos just ain’t fast to build
