I can understand people who live outside the area who drove a long ways that just want to see the track wanting to do this. But, if you live in California and have all of the track days that are available to you, it just doesn't make any sense.

I am going to Rennsport for the first time and have my corral pass, so was wondering about this too. Is it just what it sounds like? A hot slow drive around the track. For $65?

Yes, exactly my experience with various other cars at Seca. It’s quite silly. More like a parade traffic jam.

Parade laps and a d**k tease are very similar in concept. Close, but no cigar.

Parade laps are great for shortening the food and drink lines.

I've been trying to get my wife interested in a Porsche for a while now (Just bought a 964 but it's in rough shape - I'd like her to try something newer). Might be silly to some but we're coming from Florida for our first RR and if anyone has an empty passenger seat for the parade lap, I'm sure she'd love to ride shotgun (don't get any ideas!)
