Leather Vents

Leather Vents
I remember leather vents being an orderable option on my 991.1 GT3. I regretted not ordering them, but when it came time to order my 991.2 GT3, the option was removed. It's also removed from the 991.2 GT3 RS ordering.
Anyone know why?
I don't want to pay CXX money for this, so I'm holding off, but if it's something reasonable, I wouldn't mind. Aftermarket is not an option for me.

It is there. Under Interior, you just check painted vent slats. If you don't actually want the slats painted the Sales Rep adds a note to your order to not paint the slats or paint them black; Then you have leather vents. I think it is around $1700.00

Ah, that's interesting. Thank you!

Hard to settle on an interior but I think I will go with Black Deviated (actually that wouldn't be deviated!) stitching, leather vents (with black slats) red center mark on steering wheel, Red Chromo and belts in Red in my Miami Blue October build. $3500 for Black stitching does seem a bit much, the other thought is Acid Green and loose the Red accents. Acid Green in Miami Blue, what do you think???

I didn't want to have a $7k leather interior.. so I limited myself to extended leather dashboard and steering column as my extras.. but I've spent quite a bit of time driving an R with the leather vents and they are really spectacular. I would first go extended dash if I had to choose for the same price though, much more bang for the buck (in Porsche terms of course)... THEN add the leather vents.
Actually.. I would go CXX rs door straps on the gt3 before going leather vents... removing all the shiny from the inside is an expensive endeavor

I have steered clear of the leather dash because I thought the stitching would reflect in the windshield creating a distraction. Do you notice it on yours??
I was thinking of the Macarbon door pulls to get rid of that bling.

Leather vents is the first leather option I would have ordered. Had I known they were available CXX for ~1700, I probably would have ordered them. The silver trim on the outside of the vents looks meh. I am probably going to wrap mine.

You can also change the stitching on the extended leather dash, I have yellow stitching, but the LS covers and center are with black stitching to avoid reflection. The stitching in front of the windshield is again yellow. So you get both options in a perfect way. My exclusive consultant managed the changes.
