Does save the ceramic brake more kg than the weissach does?
for less money.
Weissach is -18kg.
without the rims - the rims are another -11,5kg.
How much is the weight difference on the calipers, brakes, pads in total. steel vs. ceramic.
unsprung mass multiplied by 7 is (for me) not fair.
but multiplied by 2 or 3 is fair i guess.
EDIT: helped myself. RL says 40lb = 18kg in total.
so...
WP without Ceramic... naja...

I like the WP because it really makes the car stand out as a "GT" car.
It also clearly shows it being the latest 991.2RS with an option the .1 never had.
Lizard green, gold wheels and WP. Ulitmate 991.2RS
Will not get lost amongst other 991.1RS in a parking lot.

Race Car
From the UK configurator, about the CS package:
Bolt-in roll cage in black at rear (in high-strength steel) including reinforcements with connection to bodyshell and preparation for battery disconnect switch.
Supplied ready to install: six-point seat belt for driver's seat in black and lightweight Motorsport hand-held fire extinguisher with bracket in aluminium.
Note: front roll cage add-on with FIA homologation for race track use available from the Porsche Motorsport department. Option only available in conjunction with (standard) full bucket seats or sports bucket seats (order no. P03)
The battery disconnect switch needs to be ordered from Porsche Motorsport.

Drifting
I’m really torn on WP. I promised myself after my last RS build that I wouldn’t go crazy with options on next build. My current RS has turned into a track driven only car, so all the extra frilly things not needed. So here’s what I got:
Lizard Green paint/interior; black wheels, extended tank, alcantara visors = $197k
add WP = $215k
that $18k is like 9 sets of tires! Exposed CF is awesome and all, but from behind the steering wheel won’t notice. As I said, struggling.
