Default Any anthracite trim owners

Having ordered the anthracite option, and knowing its grayish, would love to see pics from your GT3. How much darker is anthracite over the standard aluminum ?

Not necessarily. Both aluminum and anthracite are matte. Anthracite is a darker shade of grey. It matches perfectly with the seat stripes and GT silver, IMO.

PS. Anthracite is a must if you are not going for carbon fiber. My $ 0.02

Thanks. Only carbon fiber is the LWB, I felt the Anthracite would match best even though I have that seat stripe deleted. Always had the standard aluminum and can't wait for the anthracite. Painting the interior was just not an option as it's Viper green. I love that green, but must admit viper would look too busy on the interior trim parts.,

Look, color is one thing. I am kind of color blind anyway, lol. But I am all about matching shades. I think Aluminum interior is too light of a shade for your viper green. Anthracite, which is free anyway, would be a better match.

What stitch did you go with? This pic should help with your aluminum trim question:

Order locked with yellow deviated stitching and of course the anthracite. I believe touring model gets black trim, but mine is a wing model so anthracite it is.

Anthracite is a good call, that's what i went with as I didn't want the CF trim (different pattern vs the bucket seat backs plus have it on my Macan Turbo and wanted to look at something different). I wanted something less in your face vs the standard aluminum and thought the darker shade blended in better. Power of understatement

Here is are the swatches when I looked at them side by side at the dealer:

Black anodized > anthracite > regular aluminum (IMO).

Couldn’t get black anodized on the regular GT3, so I decided to do something different and went with black leather trim instead.

When I specc’ed my 991.1 gt3, they charged for anthracite trim. I’m really glad I went with this option. It fits the car really well and is much less “shiny” than the standard aluminum trim. I didn’t go with carbon fiber, since there is no carbon fiber on the exterior, but I think it’s a good choice as well

I have anthracite as well. CF is cool but not worth the extra IMO. I too think it would be too much green or in my case Carrera white.

I could not figure which metal was the best match and have had little dents in the thinnish metal trim in past, so I went leather .... and its free
